Carson Young has had mixed results to start the year, recording a T29, T57, and two missed cuts. He now looks to the Mexican Open to find some consistency — an event where he's had strong results in the past, finishing T8 in 2024 and T15 in 2023. At 7,456 yards, Vidanta Vallarta is a course that requires length off the tee and strong long-iron play. Young currently ranks 104th in driving distance for 2025 and is in the 34th percentile for proximity from 200-plus yards over the past 12 months, a range that accounted for 43.3% of all approach shots at this event last year. While these are areas where Young has struggled this year, his solid course history suggests this could be the event where he turns things around. At $7,700 on DraftKings, Young is a quintessential boom-or-bust candidate.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
