Carson Wentz Looks Like He'll Be Ready
3 years agoThe Athletic's Zak Keefer said that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz (foot) looked like a guy on Monday at practice that will be ready to go for the regular season opener in three weeks. The Colts will be smart about Wentz's workload leading up to Week 1, but barring any significant setbacks, it's looking like he will be ready to rock to begin the regular season. Jacob Eason and Sam Ehlinger, who had been handling first-team repetitions in Wentz's absence, will compete for the backup duties. It's great news for Wentz and all of the Colts skill players on offense. With an excellent offensive line in front of him and after being reunited with head coach Frank Reich, Wentz is worth a gamble in two-QB leagues at a discount (28 ADP).
