2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer (arm) is slated to have surgery to fix his broken arm Wednesday, according to a source. The team is hoping he will be out less than eight weeks. Even though the Cardinals are hoping for a late-season return for Palmer, one has to wonder if this is the end for the 37-year-old veteran. Even if he returns, he's likely to be of much use for fantasy owners and can be dropped in the majority of leagues. Drew Stanton replaced Palmer in Week 7 and was atrocious. It may not be long until Blaine Gabbert gets his shot under center in the desert.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
