Carlos Rodon To Start Rehab Assignment Tuesday
1 year agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back) will start a minor-league rehab assignment at Double-A Somerset on Tuesday, and he's likely to make three starts before joining the Yankees' starting rotation. Rodon was a big free-agent prize for the Yanks in the offseason on a six-year, $162 million deal, but he started the 2023 season on the injured list with a forearm injury before dealing with a chronic back issue. Fantasy managers have been waiting a while, but they can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The 30-year-old southpaw operated as a fantasy ace the last two years with the San Francisco Giants, and he has the potential to be one again the rest of the season in the Bronx if he can just stay healthy.
