Carlos Correa Breaks Out With Home Run
6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa finally got in on the Astros offensive fun, powering an opposite-field home run in the team's 11-3 ALDS series winner over the Indians. Correa came into the at-bat 0-for-8 in the series and has been severely struggling at the plate for months now. Correa took an outside pitch from Indians pitcher Brad Hand and muscled it over the fence for only his second home run since August 25. Correa will continue to hit in the lower third of the lineup moving forward but hopefully is trending in the right direction.
