Cardinals Sign David Blough
2 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals signed quarterback David Blough off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad on Wednesday, according to a source. Blough will take the roster spot of Kyler Murray (knee), who was placed on season-ending Injured Reserve after tearing his left ACL in the Monday night loss to the New England Patriots. Barring injury, veteran Colt McCoy should close out the season as Arizona's starting signal-caller. He'll be backed up by Trace McSorley and Blough. The 27-year-old Blough has not played at all this year while with the Vikings. In three NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions, Blough has thrown for 1,033 yards, four touchdowns and seven interceptions on 184 pass attempts in seven games (five starts).
