Edmonton Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot will get the nod for Friday's battle with the Minnesota Wild. He lost all five of his starts in November, but made a good start to this month on Wednesday, stopping 28 pucks in a 3-2 shootout win at St. Louis. He's in a tricky spot tonight. The Wild have lost four of their last five games and they will be tired after playing in Calgary on Thursday, but Talbot has seriously lacked consistency this season, winning back-to-back starts just twice. The Oilers are on a nice run with four wins in their last five outings, but it's difficult to trust a goalie who's giving up over three goals per game (3.19).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
