Cam Skattebo Out With Undisclosed Injury
Cam Skattebo (undisclosed) did not take part in Thursday's training camp practice with an undisclosed injury, according to The Athletic's Dan Duggan. Duggan added that the injury is "likely minor." It's probably nothing to be overly concerned about unless Skattebo doesn't get back on the field soon. The 23-year-old is slow for an NFL running back but has impressed as a pass-catcher early in camp this summer. Skattebo is not going to have a huge role in his first season in the NFL as long as Tyrone Tracy Jr. misses time with an injury, but he could have a role on pass-catching downs in 2025. The fourth-rounder out of Arizona State makes up for his lack of speed with power and short-area explosiveness. Fantasy managers should target him as more of an RB3/flex in PPR leagues, but if Tracy were to miss time, Skattebo would be an extremely valuable asset.
