2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers (illness) missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness. Akers has two more chances to get back on the practice field this week ahead of a Week 13 date versus the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams cut Darrell Henderson Jr. last week and gave the majority of the backfield work to rookie Kyren Williams in the Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Akers ended up played 30 percent of the offensive snaps and saw eight carries for 37 yards while not being targeted in the passing attack. Even if he plays this Sunday, it's likely the out-of-contention Rams will continue to lean more on Williams as they finish a lost season. Akers will be best left on fantasy benches, and it'll be really hard to trust any Rams offensive skill player against Seattle with either quarterback John Wolford or Bryce Perkins making the start with Matthew Stafford (concussion, neck) unlikely to play.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
