Byron Leftwich Says Mike Evans Is The “Best He’s Ever Been”

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans had a lights-out training camp according to the team's offensive coordinator, Byron Leftwich. "It's kind of been under the radar, this is the best he's been since we've been around him," Leftwich said. The 28-year-old will look to accomplish the eighth consecutive 1,000-yard season to begin his career. Although there will be a lot of competition for targets from quarterback Tom Brady, Evans still figures to get enough volume to be a low-end WR1 or solid WR2 for fantasy managers. Much of his production last year came from his 13 receiving touchdowns, so he will have to be very efficient once again to live up to his draft price.
