Byron Buxton In The Lineup Again Monday
Byron Buxton (knee) is in the starting lineup for the second straight day on Monday, starting in center field and batting leadoff against Oakland Athletics left-hander Zach Logue. Buxton has been battling through a knee issue of late, but it's nice to see him playing in his second straight game. The Twins are being cautious with the oft-injured 28-year-old, though, so don't be surprised to see him take a day to rest more often than not until he gets past the injury. Buxton is a must-start fantasy asset in single-year leagues anytime he's playing, and he's hitting .259/.330/.706 with a 1.036 OPS, 11 home runs, 19 RBI and 20 runs scored in 23 games. He has just one steal and hasn't had double-digit thefts since 2019, but he will pack the stat sheet elsewhere when healthy.
