Byron Buxton Expects To Be Fine
Byron Buxton expects to be fine after he was removed from the spring game on Friday after suffering a contusion to the right side of his face after colliding with Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts. Buxton singled in his first at-bat of the game to raise his spring average to a team-leading .455 (15-for-33), and he was tied for the team lead with four home runs. The speedy outfielder has teased fantasy owners in the past, but inconsistency and injury have mostly made him a disappointment. There's still upside with his power/speed combination, making him a potential sleeper in 2019.
