Byeong Hun An has shown a troubling trend of late. The South Korean golfer has started out above par in three of his previous four opening rounds. Hun An, as a result, has been pressed into trying to play catch-up especially on courses that are ripe for more birdies. Yes, The Players Championship remains a daunting task for any golfer. However, a +2 for Hun An was a little underwhelming. Golfers need to get on the green and make putts. Averaging 30.13 putts per opening round is a recipe for disaster. Hun A keeps leaving multiple strokes on the golf course. Too many metrics rank 140th or worse in the early going including greens in regulation, scrambling, and strokes gained to putting. Hun An may still be an option to fade at the Valspar Championship. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
