Buccaneers Sign Chase Edmonds To One-Year Deal
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing former Denver Broncos running back Chase Edmonds to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to a source. Edmonds began last season with the Miami Dolphins before being traded to Denver midway through the season. In five games with the Broncos, he played a backup role and had only 26 carries for 125 yards, adding six receptions for 61 yards. In total, he produced 245 yards and two rushing TDs on 68 carries while catching 16 of 24 targets for 157 yards and another touchdown in 13 games (three starts). The 26-year-old didn't look good at all in 2022, and he'll look to bounce back with the Bucs in a complementary role to Rachaad White.
