Buccaneers Interview Brian Callahan for Offensive-Coordinator Job
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers interviewed former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan for their offensive-coordinator job on Friday, according to Rick Stroud of The Tampa Bay Times. The Buccaneers are looking for a new offensive coordinator after firing Josh Grizzard this week. Callahan was hired as the Titans' head coach in 2024, but he was fired midway through the 2025 campaign. He was the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals for five seasons from 2019-23 before getting the head-coaching gig in Tennessee. In Cincy, Callahan helped the Bengals to two AFC North titles, two AFC Championship appearances, and a Super Bowl berth. In three seasons, the Bengals offense ranked in the top 10 in scoring, passing yards, red-zone efficiency, third-down percentage, and time of possession. Quarterback Baker Mayfield would be in good hands in 2026 if Callahan is hired.
