Bryce Miller Dealing with Bone Spur in Elbow
Bryce Miller (elbow) has a bone spur in the back of his pitching elbow, which caused the inflammation, reports Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. Miller feels good after resting his elbow since May 11, and the Mariners don't anticipate any further management of the spur or inflammation. He's nearing a return from the injured list, with reports that he could skip a rehab assignment and start for Seattle as early as this weekend. He was struggling prior to the injury, as he has posted a 5.22 ERA and 1.54 WHIP so far this year.
