Browns Waiting On Deshaun Watson's MRI Results
1 year agoThe Cleveland Browns are calling quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) "day-to-day" while waiting on tests results of his MRI exam, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Watson aggravated his injured right shoulder in the Week 7 win over the Indianapolis Colts and was also evaluated for a concussion. He cleared concussion protocols but never returned to the game out of an abundance of caution from the coaching staff. Watson had a protective harness over his strained right rotator cuff and also had a compression sleeve on his right heading into Sunday's game. He has already missed two full games and half of a third, and Stefanski said he can't predict what will happen in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks. It will depend on the results of Watson's MRI exam and how much he can do in practice this week. If Watson can't play, P.J. Walker would likely make his second start of the year.
