Brock Bowers Officially Inactive in Week 7
Brock Bowers (knee) is officially inactive for the Week 7 divisional contest on Sunday versus the Kansas City Chiefs. In addition, the Raiders will be without wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee, toe), which will make things even more difficult for a struggling Raiders passing game against a stout Chiefs defense. Bowers will miss his third straight game due to a knee injury that he initially sustained in the season opener. Vegas has its bye coming in Week 8, though, so there is optimism that the second-year TE will be ready to return in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It's been a disappointing sophomore year so far for anyone who took Bowers early in fantasy drafts. Michael Mayer caught his first touchdown of the year in Week 6 and figures to be heavily targeted by quarterback Geno Smith again this week. He's in play as a TE2 streamer against KC.
