Utah Mammoth forward Nick Schmaltz scored three goals and registered one assist in Friday's big 6-3 victory over the Utah Mammoth. Schmaltz started things off with a power-play goal and already had two markers to his name by first intermission. He completed his second career hat trick early in the third frame. The huge performance meant that Schmaltz had more points on one night than he had managed in four games leading up to the contest. He's now sitting on seven points (three goals, four assists) for the season with five games played. Utah flexed its muscles on Friday, but it was against a struggling defense, and so far this season, the team hasn't actually quite clicked offensively. Fantasy managers definitely shouldn't rush to grab Schmaltz.--Taavi Pailk
