Breshad Perriman Added, Sean Murphy-Bunting Activated
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers elevated wide receiver Breshad Perriman to the active roster from the practice squad on Monday and also activated cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (elbow) from Injured Reserve. Receiver Scotty Miller (toe) didn't come off IR to play this week, so Perriman will serve as receiver depth with Antonio Brown (ankle) missing another game. Perriman will be behind Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Tyler Johnson and rookie Jaelon Darden, so he's unlikely to play many snaps, if any, on Monday night against the New York Giants. Murphy-Bunting missed the last eight games with a dislocated elbow, but Tampa's injured secondary will welcome him back with open arms, and he should play a big role immediately.
