Brendan Steele Hopes To Get Back On Track
6 years agoBrendan Steele is participating in this week's Desert Classic. It will be his first start of 2019. Steele suffered through a brutal 2018 that included a stretch of 12 consecutive starts without a top-45 finish. Things weren't much better for him in the fall, as he missed the cut in his last start at the Shriners Open. Steele does have a record of success in the Desert Classic. He has made four straight cuts at La Quinta, with a T6 in 2017 and a T2 in 2015. Steele's course history makes him a tempting DFS play this week, but consider him a risky option until his game shows some improvement.
