New York Yankees right-handed pitcher Brendan Beck (elbow), who had Tommy John surgery last summer, is expected to make a full recovery, according to sources. Beck, the team's second-round pick in 2021, was injured while ramping up to pitch for Low-A Tampa at the end of last year after throwing 108 2/3 innings for Stanford in the spring. The 23-year-old finished last season ranked as the team's No. 14 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. Beck doesn't have a true plus pitch in his arsenal, but he makes up for it with solid command and could grow into more power with mechanical adjustments down the road. The right-hander has a simple and repeatable delivery and should have a high floor as at least a back-end starter at the next level. Don't expect to see Beck pitching in the minors in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
