Brandon Drury Day-To-Day With Shoulder Injury
1 year agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Brandon Drury (shoulder) tweaked his shoulder on a dive on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox, which is why he wasn't in the starting lineup on Friday for the series opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Drury is being considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers will be hoping that the 30-year-old will return at some point this weekend. He finished up the month of June hitting .337 (33-for-98) with five home runs, four doubles and 18 RBI in 24 games. Drury has been a cheap source of power in fantasy leagues in his first year with the Angels. He's currently slashing .277/.322/.500 with an .822 OPS, 14 homers, 45 RBI and 36 runs scored in 75 games. Drury should continue to be a lineup regular when healthy, but he could get pushed further down the lineup now that Anthony Rendon is back from the injured list.
