7 months agoWashington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby allowed one goal on 36 shots in Sunday's 3-1 victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. It was a pretty solid performance considering there has been a bug circulating through the Washington locker room. Center Evgeny Kuznetsov was able to play despite missing practice on Saturday, while left wing Carl Hagelin was back after missing Friday's game due to illness. Both returning players were scoreless. The Caps are back in action Tuesday night, kicking off a home-and-home series with the Carolina Hurricanes in what might be a playoff preview.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
