4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and left-handers Asa Lacy and Daniel Lynch are among the team's 29 non-roster invites to spring training. According to MLB Pipeline, Witt is the No. 7 prospect in baseball, with Lynch and Lacy at Nos. 29 and 30, respectively. Lynch will have a chance to compete for the big-league starting rotation, and the 24-year-old could make an impact for the Royals in 2021. The Royals camp will feature 12 of their top-30 prospects, including Jackson Kowar (No. 4), outfielder Kyle Isbel (No. 7), pitcher Jonathan Bowlan (No. 9), pitcher Austin Cox (No. 11), infielder Nick Pratto (No. 12), catcher MJ Melendez (No. 13), outfielder Suely Matias (No. 14), pitcher Alec Marsh (No. 25) and pitcher Jon Heasley (No. 26). Witt, Lacy and Lynch are the names you need to know in dynasty leagues, with Lynch having the most single-season appeal in 2021 if he earns a rotation spot.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
