Bo Melton 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Green Bay WR5 Could Shine With Opportunity
6 months agoBo Melton hopes to carry his impressive late-season performance that illustrated his rise from a seventh-rounder on practice squads into the 2024 season. Melton finally saw playing time in Green Bay in Week 15 of 2023 due to injuries and capitalized to finish the year strong. From Weeks 16 to 18, he recorded at least four receptions in each game, including a breakout performance in Week 17 with 105 yards and a touchdown. The Packers surely love the depth, but Melton is unlikely to crack the starting rotation as their fifth WR on the chart. While Christian Watson's durability issues are known, Dontayvion Wicks has earned the WR4 slot. So while Melton may not yet warrant a draft pick, he becomes a must-add if an avenue to starting with Jordan Love, a top-five fantasy QB last season, opens up. For now, his half-PPR RotoBaller rank and ADP of WR115 speak to the winding path toward fantasy relevance.
