Dallas Stars' goaltender Ben Bishop needed that holiday break. Prior to the time off, he had allowed 10 goals in two games and had dropped his last four decisions. He was sharp Saturday night, though, and stopped 41 of 43 shots before winning in the shootout against Colorado. Despite the previous struggles, he’s still one of the top goaltenders in fantasy hockey with a 2.36 GAA and a .924 SV%. Tyler Seguin scored the first goal of the game and has 11 on the season. He now has eight points in seven games but is still on pace for his lowest goals and points totals since 2012-13. Defenseman John Klingberg added two helpers in the game and now has five points in four games. Russian winger Denis Gurianov found the back of the net and now has goals in three straight games and points in four. He bears monitoring in the second half of the season. Ian Cole and J.T. Compher had goals for the Avalanche in the losing effort.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
