Baker Mayfield Ready To Make Plays With His Legs
3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder, foot, groin), who has been struggling with injuries in recent weeks, is finally able to make plays with his legs again and is showing signs of looking like himself, according to those who see him every day. His injuries are starting to heal, and one source said he's feeling as good as he has in a month. Another source described Mayfield as having no limitations. The last time Mayfield faced the Baltimore Ravens, his Week 12 opponent on Sunday night, he averaged more than six yards per rush and scored a touchdown. Mayfield will be getting pass-catching back Kareem Hunt (calf) back in Week 12 and will face a porous Ravens secondary, but he'll still be on the low end of the QB2 spectrum in Cleveland's run-first offense.
