3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder, knee, foot) returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session. Mayfield said he's the most beat up he's ever been in his career after suffering a knee injury last Sunday, but the team fully expects him to tough it out and play in Week 11 against the winless Detroit Lions. The Browns, already a run-heavy team expected to get running back Nick Chubb back from the COVID-19 list this weekend, are unlikely to need to throw the ball much on Sunday to have a shot at beating the Lions. Mayfield will continue to be more of a game manager for the Browns offense and won't be a very attractive low-end QB2, especially while he's nursing a trio of injuries.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
