Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-4 with a steal in his major-league debut on Friday night. The organization's second-ranked prospect started in center field in place of the injured Starling Marte (oblique) and batted seventh. Meadows flew out in his first at-bat before singling in the fourth inning and stealing second base. He added another single in the sixth for his second hit of the day. It was a solid debut for the 23-year-old, who should continue to see regular playing time in Marte's absence. It doesn't figure to be a long stay, however, so Meadows has limited appeal outside of keeper and NL-only leagues. Although he doesn't have tremendous power, he could be a nice source of stolen bases for fantasy owners looking to replace Marte's production in that category.--Matt Wilkes
