Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson (hamstring) is considered day-to-day with left-hamstring tightness after missing a second straight game in Wednesday's series finale against the division-rival Los Angeles Angels. The team is hopeful that he could return for Friday's series opener in Kansas City against the Royals after a day off on Thursday. The 23-year-old former first-rounder was scratched from Tuesday's loss to the Halos and was also held out of the lineup on Wednesday as a precaution. The good news is fantasy managers should have him back at some point this weekend against the Royals. Wilson has been amazing through 64 games in 2025, slashing .366/.402/.520 with a .922 OPS, eight home runs, 38 RBI, 36 runs scored and five stolen bases. Although he rarely strikes out (16 times in 272 plate appearances), Wilson is due for regression in the average department.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
