Aroldis Chapman Earns Ninth Save
Aroldis Chapman was handed the ball with a two-run lead in the ninth inning during Sunday's game versus the Atlanta Braves. Chapman worked around one walk and threw a scoreless inning to earn his ninth save of the season. The southpaw did get a visit from the trainer, but continued pitching without any problems. Chapman has been pitching extremely well with only one earned run allowed over his last eight innings. After this outing, Chapman is posting a 1.88 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 32/9 K/BB ratio this season. Somehow, the 37-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down.
