Aric Almirola has struggled at Darlington throughout his entire career. In eight starts at the site, Almirola’s best finish was 11th in 2015, and he has also scored negative place differential six times. The driver of the No. 10 Ford has two top-10 finishes in the last two races this season from Auto Club and Phoenix. Even though Almirola is with Stewart-Haas Racing, who have had great success with other drivers, Darlington is one of Almirola’s least-favorite tracks.
