Antonio Senzatela Takes Sixth Loss Of The Year
Antonio Senzatela took his sixth loss of the year on Tuesday when he surrendered four runs on nine hits with one walk and eight strikeouts in a 6-2 loss to the Marlins. Senzatela pitched better than the box score would indicate against the pesky Marlins. He did scatter nine hits but punched out a season-high eight batters. He allowed four of his runs in the third inning with a Jesus Aguilar sacrifice fly, a Corey Dickerson two-run triple, and an Adam Duvall RBI single. The outing raised his season ERA to 4.62 to go along with a 1.43 WHIP, and 42:17 K/BB ratio over 64 1/3 innings (12 starts). He'll carry those numbers into a road date with the Cincinnati Reds this weekend. He's not a recommended fantasy start in that one, though.
