Antonio Brown Suspended Three Games
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been suspended without pay for the next three games for misrepresenting his vaccination status under the league's COVID-19 protocols. Brown has accepted the discipline and has waived his right to appeal. Defensive back Mike Edwards also received the same suspension. Brown hasn't appeared in a game since spraining his ankle in Week 6, so this extra time off will allow him to fully heal, but he now won't be eligible to return until Week 16. Since that is in the thick of the fantasy playoffs, fantasy managers should still keep Brown stashed. However, there's a very good chance that he'll have his snaps limited if he does return in Week 16 after such a long layoff. A potentially promising season for AB has turned ugly due to his ankle injury and now this COVID-19 suspension.
