Anton Khudobin To Start Versus Detroit
Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy has confirmed that Bruins goaltender Anton Khudobin will start Tuesday night’s game against Detroit. Khudobin was solid in Boston’s 2-1 overtime win against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, allowing just one goal on 28 shots. The 31-year-old has been a reliable backup this season to the Bruins top goaltender Tuukka Rask, posting a 7-2-0 record in his last nine decisions with a 2.34 goals-against average and .921 save percentage this season. Khudobin may not be the No. 1 in Boston, but he will get his fair share of starts before the start of the postseason. Take a look at him if you are in need of goaltending help through the end of the season.
