Anthony Schwartz Won't Face The Lions
3 years agoCleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Anthony Schwartz (concussion) missed practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. Schwartz was not able to clear the league's concussion protocol. With Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) questionable, Rashard Higgins could have a much bigger role in a really nice matchup if Peoples-Jones is limited or inactive. However, the Browns have had one of the lowest-volume passing attacks in the NFL this season, and No. 1 receiver Jarvis Landry has even been hard to trust as a WR4/flex in PPR leagues with quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder, knee, foot) banged up. You'll need to do a lot of praying if you plan on starting Peoples-Jones/Higgins.
