Anthony Rendon Could Be Ready For Return After Break
Anthony Rendon (hamstring) is expected to be ready to go on a rehab assignment after the All-Star break, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reported. Rendon went onto the 10-day injured list earlier this week with a left hamstring strain, marking the third time this season he has been sidelined. Injuries have impacted the 31-year-old infielder's performance, as he is only hitting .240/.329/.382 with just six home runs, 24 runs scored and 34 RBI in 217 at-bats. The good news for fantasy managers is that the break will hopefully give Rendon the extra recovery time he needs to come back stronger in the second half of the season.
