Anthony Miller Still Waiting To Make First Catch In 2019
5 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller was held without a catch in the team's Week 1 loss to the Packers. Miller had been dealing with an ankle injury in the latter portions of training camp and clearly is not in rhythm on offense. He saw only one target in Week 1 and played 16 snaps, a paltry number for a player who was poised to take a step forward this season. Miller has plenty of talent but questions remain when it comes to his chemistry on the field with quarterback Mitch Trubisky. The second-year receiver will go up against a Broncos secondary this Sunday that struggled, at times, to stop the Raiders passing offense in Week 1. Until Miller plays more than 16 snaps in a game and records a catch, the receiver needs to ride the fantasy bench.
