Anthony Davis To Miss A Month
Anthony Davis (foot) is expected to miss a month of action. The organization originally planned to rest Davis through the All-Star break and re-evaluate him in two weeks. However, Davis underwent an MRI on Thursday, which revealed a mid-foot sprain. The Lakers will shut down Davis for four weeks before they re-evaluate him. That means, LeBron James and Russell Westbrook will be forced to carry the load on offense. Carmelo Anthony (hamstring) and Dwight Howard should see more playing time coming their way. Anthony is the much better fantasy option between the two players. Fantasy managers should have Anthony on their radar with Davis likely sidelined over a month.
