Andrew Thomas Activated From Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe New York Giants activated former first-round left tackle Andrew Thomas (ankle, foot) from Injured Reserve on Monday. Thomas has missed four of the last five games, including the last three while on IR, with ankle and foot injuries. With Thomas out for the last three games, Matt Peart started on quarterback Daniel Jones' blind side. As long as Thomas is fully healthy and not limited, he should reclaim his starting left tackle duties on Monday night against a strong Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive line. Giving Jones a clean pocket will be key if the Giants want to give the Buccaneers their third straight loss to close out Week 11 action.
