Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy will start the season opener on Tuesday against Pittsburgh. The 2019 Vezina Trophy winner is carrying a very strong 8-3-0 career record against the Penguins and he's nicely placed to improve it further, with Pittsburgh's star centermen Sidney Crosby (wrist) and Evgeni Malkin (knee) both unavailable. Vasilevskiy posted a 31-10-1 record last season with a 2.21 goals-against average, a .925 save percentage and five shutouts. He was nearly perfect on home ice, putting together an 18-2-0 record. The Penguins will counter with Tristan Jarry, who tended to struggle on the road last season, giving up over three goals per game (3.26).--Taavi Pailk
