Toronto Maple Leafs left wing Andreas Johnsson signed a four-year, $13.6 million deal, while right wing Kasperi Kapanen agreed to a three-year, $9.6 million contract extension. This is why the Leafs moved Patrick Marleau to the Carolina Hurricanes in a very costly salary dump.
