Amari Cooper Placed On COVID-19 List, Won't Play Sunday
3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday and will miss the team's Week 11 showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. His availability for next Thursday's game on Thanksgiving will also be in doubt. If Cooper is vaccinated, he will need to return two negative tests in order to be activated in time to play in Week 12. CeeDee Lamb could be forced back to the outside, where he hasn't been as productive, but he'll obviously still be a must-start wideout in fantasy with Cooper out. Michael Gallup, who just returned from Injured Reserve last week, will have an expanded role in a potential shootout as an upside WR3/flex option, but Cedrick Wilson will also see more of a role. And after a disappointing outing last week, tight end Dalton Schultz has a great opportunity to bounce back.
