Allen Robinson Lining Up To Be Tagged
7 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson (knee) is the only player that the team would consider using the franchise tag on this year after he missed almost all of the 2017 season with a torn ACL and after he struggled in 2016. A one-year, incentive-laden deal is their preference, but if the two sides can't work out a deal, the Jags would pay around $6 million for one year on the tag. Robinson would become the top receiver available on the open market if he were released, so Jacksonville won't go that route. Robinson will have to prove that he's past his knee injury to the team and to fantasy owners. He has plenty of potential to bounce back, but Jacksonville's quarterback situation remains up in the air.
