2 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Allen Robinson II will have to step up in a Week 11 matchup against the New Orleans Saints in which the Rams will be without WR1 Cooper Kupp. The 29-year-old caught four passes from backup quarterback John Wolford for 44 yards last week when Kupp went down with a high-ankle sprain. Now QB1 Matthew Stafford (concussion) is expected to be back for Week 11. With Kupp on the IR, one expectation is that A-Rob will get more targets. However, Robinson's managers should temper their optimism with another expectation: the Rams may not be able to move the ball much at all without Kupp drawing coverage and making impossible catches. It is possible that whatever benefit Robinson accrues from receiving added volume will be counteracted by the Rams' inability to sustain drives.
