10 months agoNew York Rangers goaltender Alexandar Georgiev allowed four goals on 35 shots in Saturday's 5-3 road loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs. All four of the goals he yielded were of the even-strength variety, so it wasn't a terribly impressive performance. Neal Pionk posted a goal and assist in this one, including a goal late in the second period to level the game 1-1. However, Georgiev came apart like a cheap suit in the third, coughing up goals to Andreas Johnsson, Morgan Rielly and Mitchell Marner.
