Los Angeles Dodgers starter Alex Wood was victimized by his team's lack of run support once again on Wednesday against the Diamondbacks. Despite allowing only one run on five hits over five innings, with four strikeouts and three walks, Wood got only one run of support from the home team. He now sports a 3.60 ERA on the season and 2.81 against the division leaders from Arizona. The three walks are troublesome, especially since he threw 94 pitches on the night. He has yet to throw 100 in an outing this season. Wins are going to continue to be hard to come by with the injury-plagued Dodgers, but the peripherals on Wood (like his diminished control and velocity) are more troublesome.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
