Detroit Red Wings goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic frustrated his former teammates on Thursday, saving 46 shots in a 3-0 win over Carolina. He registered the second-most saves a Detroit goalie has had in a shutout since 1955-56 when the league started to record shots on goal. Nedeljkovic now has three shutouts in total for the campaign and sits on a 19-21-9 record with a 3.27 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage. Having suffered just two regulation defeats in his last seven starts, Nedeljkovic is having a pretty solid finish to the year. He also had a 47-save performance in a win over Boston last week and seems very sharp right now.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
