5 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins (foot) has been placed on Injured Reserve and as a result will miss the rest of the season. He has been listed on the team's injury report the past two weeks and was inactive for last week's contest. Collins finishes a disappointing season with 441 yards on 114 carries (3.6 yards per attempt) and seven touchdowns in nine games. In a corresponding move, the team activated running back Kenneth Dixon (knee) from IR. Gus Edwards has back-to-back 100-yard games and should remain the team's lead back moving forward, but Dixon could be mixed in alongside Ty Montgomery down the stretch. Javorius Allen has fallen quite a bit on the depth chart.--Daniel Benjamin
